North Dakota State Hospital

The North Dakota State Hospital provides specialized psychiatric and substance abuse services for individuals whose needs exceed the resources and capacity of other community services.

The NDSH is a part of the North Dakota Department of Human Services, and as such, works closely with community-based service providers, both public and private, to provide the range of mental health services need by North Dakota citizens.

South Central Human Service Center

The South Central Human Service Center provides a comprehensive array of services to the residents of Stutsman, Barnes, Griggs, Foster, Wells, Logan, McIntosh, Dickey and LaMoure Counties. Services are provided for individuals and families experiencing a wide range of emotional and interpersonal problems. Services include: individual, group and family therapy; alcohol and drug counseling; psychiatric and psychological evaluations; case management services for the developmentally disabled and the seriously mentally ill; vocational rehabilitation services that are designed to assist individuals with a physical or mental disability to return to competitive employment.
